Positive: Modern , very clean , quiet , staff where very accommodating. Free pier pick up and return is a great touch . Excellent little place to stay . Even sorted out a scooter for two days very cheap .

Positive: It was a fantastic stay! The location is perfect, close to two of the best beaches and also close to the small row of shops and restaurants. The room is very modern, clean and comfortable, lovely balcony to sit on and play cards and drink a cold beer outside of the room. Coffee facilities and a fridge meant we could get our own breakfast in and keep drinks cool. The air con was very quiet and can be low enough that it keeps you cool at night without being too loud or cold/drying. We were booked to stay for 5 days but ended up extending our trip. Noi and the team were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Negative: There are dogs barking outside the room most nights so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, this might not be an issue if you're not on the end room nearest to the road.

Positive: The owner and her assistant (a very nice guy, unfortunately I don't remember his name) are very kind. This guy gave us a lot of useful tips on restaurants and made our stay on Koh Mak better. We rented a motorbike for 200 baht per day and at the end of our stay the owner took us to the boat and arranged everything. Thank you very much. PS: I must also highlight that you have very comfortable beds.

Negative: I would really like to give this accommodation a better rating, but unfortunately I can't do it objectively. There are two types of accommodation here - bungalows and apartments. We stayed in an apartment. It is very small, with a bathroom it has 17m2, and it is very poorly equipped. There is only a bed, basic chair, basic table, and a fridge. No closets, only one basic nightstand. So, you have things scattered all over the floor all the time. The walls are very thin, and when you try, you can understand what people are saying in the next apartment. The keys are welded to the room card, so when you are not in the accommodation, you cannot charge your electronics and your fridge doesn't work. At the same time, two unpleasant situations happened to us, namely that the cleaning service accidentally broke our selfie stick. The owner just apologized and did not offer compensation for the damage. At the same time, we lost shorts here, which we left on the bed during the day. They were probably packed with the bedding. This review is difficult for me to write because otherwise they were so kind to us. But unfortunately, this is our experience.
